This is a long sliver of a park, taking in 302 acres.  With over 3 miles of trails, much of which is along river-front property, this is a beautiful trek.  Some of the inclines are quite difficult, however.  Also,  The path actually passes under I-75.

Parking:  There are two parking areas, one at each end of the park.  The north entrance is located off of Akers Drive (which is accessed from Akers Mill Rd.).  The South entrance is just off of Cobb Parkway (U.S. 41) at the Outdoor Center/Raft Landing-Launch area.  More on parking.
