The enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff have really made the most of this 22 acre site. Sporting a wide wood-chip loop trail of less than a mile in length, this is a first rate little path. Also, there are plans on expanding the trail. This park may be of particular use for those with children; there is a playground on the trail. In addition, there are many educational opportunities for kids offered through the nature center.
Parking: Plenty of parking at the nature center and next door at the athletic fields.
Directions: From Atlanta, take GA 400 north to Exit #6 (Northridge Rd). On the exit ramp, stay in the far left lane. While still on the exit ramp, you will immediately come to a stop sign. Go straight through the stop sign onto Roberts Dr. Travel 2 miles. Dunwoody Nature Center is on the left at 5343 Roberts Dr.
