Although much of the park is paved, there are still a couple of options open to off road running. From the west side of the mountain is the trail that takes you up the 800-foot elevation change to the top. There are some fairly steep sections near the end of the trail. Trail length is 1.3 miles.
The Cherokee Trail encircles the mountain, makes for a hearty 5 mile run.
There is also a .75 mile loop Nature Trail, it is located just south of the mountain walk-up trail.
NOTE: THERE IS A FEE TO ENTER THE PARK.
